Two men were arrested in Basel that night on Saturday. They allegedly shot a 30-year-old boy with a soft air pistol.
According to the Basel public prosecutor’s office, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in Güterstrasse when a 30-year-old was on the bike and two colleagues were outside. Suddenly he felt a pain in his upper arm and discovered that he was hit by a plastic bullet.
The three men looked around and discovered that a department was obviously aimed at other people. They notified the police. The latter was subsequently able to arrest two suspects and secure a long soft-air weapon with a telescopic sight. The detainees are two Swiss, 21 and 22 years old.
