After three weeks of the lockdown, US President Donald Trump resigned his opposition to an orderly transfer of power to future President Joe Biden and his team on Monday night (local time). In an unusually factual message on the Internet service Twitter, Trump said he had instructed the relevant authorities to give Biden’s team access to the money, contacts in his government and administrative procedures to prepare the transfer. However, shortly afterwards he also made it clear that no one should interpret his decision as an admission of defeat.
