Trump will hardly give up without a fight.
Officially, the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump (74), allows himself a break of several weeks after the exhaustive mandate. This is usually a tradition among presidents after they left the White House. But Trump also appears to be breaking this custom. Photos taken by the paparazzi over the weekend show Trump playing golf at his West Palm Beach Club. As he returned to his stately Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, he was celebrated by fans of the road.
The shame of the past few days cannot be seen in Trump. Looks laid back and relaxed. And he may already be starting a counteroffensive: he threatens his own Republican party with the establishment of his own party. It should be called the Patriot Party, or MAGA Party, as the Washington Post reports, the acronym for “Make America Great Again.” According to US media reports, Trump wants to use his own far-right party to punish “disloyal” Republicans who have not been loyal to him and who support the impeachment process against him.
