Cold, flu or corona? This question comes up more and more in the fall.

These symptoms can occur as part of a Covid 19 infection and also from the flu. However, a University College London (UCL) study provides a crucial indication of what the big differentiator between Covid-19 and the flu is: the loss of the sense of smell or taste. Of the 590 people examined with this symptom, 567 had corona antibodies.
At the latest, when you notice that you can no longer taste or smell anything, you should go to the test center. But it is important: the infection can look different in each person.
Just because you can still smell and taste doesn’t mean you don’t have Corona.
