Two students from England, Rachel Kennedy (19) and Liam McCrohan (21) missed the £ 182 million EuroMillions win last Friday. The two had bet on the same numbers for five weeks, namely 6, 12, 22, 29, 33, 6 and 11. And on Friday their lucky numbers were drawn.
On the Euromillions app, Rachel got the incredible news: her numbers were a direct hit! “I was impressed when I thought I had won,” the 19-year-old tells “The Sun”. The student now believes that numbers bring her more unhappiness than happiness. The two will continue to play anyway, but from now on with different numbers. Liam also shared his disappointment at the missed millionth opportunity on Twitter.
