“The risk of infection is much higher at the exit”: St. Gallen Kantian students want to go back to distance education and bite the granite
Nearly 10,000 people support a St. Gallen Kantian student’s petition to return to distance education. Many students fear passing the virus to their families. The canton and the school management relativize: the risk of contagion is greater at the exit than at the school.
They are no longer doing well in school, despite the requirement to wear a mask: due to high crown numbers, more and more students in the upper levels are resisting face-to-face lessons. A few days ago, David Rommel, a student at the canton school am Brühl in St. Gallen, launched an online petition calling again for distance education for the canton’s secondary and vocational schools. By Wednesday afternoon, more than 9,900 signatures had been collected.
