The federal government closes restaurants and bars from December 22 to January 22.
The contagions are stable at a very high level or continue to increase: all the cantons have now agreed that stricter measures are needed in the fight against the pandemic. This was stated at the federal crown press conference: from December 22 to January 22, restaurants and bars will be closed, as well as museums and libraries, sports facilities and facilities, zoos and botanical gardens. Tighter capacity restrictions will be introduced in stores: they will remain closed from 7pm and on Sundays and holidays.
