The false report of a vaccine death caused a stir last week. The message was shared that a 91-year-old resident of a nursing home in Lucerne died after being vaccinated against Covid, especially in circles skeptical of vaccines. According to the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products, Swissmedic, it is unlikely that there is a connection between vaccination and death. “Neither the medical history nor the course of the disease suggest a direct connection between vaccination and death,” Swissmedic writes in a statement.
A family doctor from the canton of Lucerne distributed the report of death by vaccination. As the “Sunday newspaper” reports, the doctor is said to be a known skeptic of the crown. This is said to have already occurred in public demonstrations against the crown’s measures by the federal government.
The doctor also spoke out publicly against the requirement to wear a mask because he considered that this measure was useless. Upon request, he issued patients a certificate without prior consultation so that they did not have to wear masks. Due to the lack of consultation, the Lucerne Health Department is conducting a monitoring procedure.
