The city council is expanding the mask requirement introduced on September 10, 2020 in public areas to include the entire city administration.
Municipal employees and visitors wear protective masks in all municipal administration buildings. The mask can be worn seated, as long as the distance of 1.5 meters is maintained or other protective measures (plexiglass) are available.
To ease rush hour and avoid close contacts at work, city employees, as far as operationally possible, are increasingly working in the home office.
The services of the city of Zurich will be provided largely as usual.
