On Thursday morning there was an accident between two cars on Langenthalstrasse in Roggwil. Two people were injured and had to be taken to hospital.
On Thursday 24 December 2020, shortly before 10.15 am, the Bern Canton Police received a report of an accident on Langenthalstrasse in Roggwil. According to initial findings, a driver coming from the country road was heading towards Langenthal. At the property level opposite the confluence of Hintergasse and Langenthalstrasse, the vehicle collided with a car that had stopped shortly before, for reasons yet to be clarified.
The 64-year-old driver was seriously injured and had to be taken to a hospital by ambulance. The 57-year-old driver of the stopped car was also injured in the accident and was taken to hospital. Both cars had to be towed.
During the duration of the accident work, the traffic on Langenthalstrasse was directed alternately. The police of the canton of Bern launched investigations to clarify the course of the accident.
