German actor Ernst-Georg Schwill died at the age of 81 in a Berlin hospital, according to the Eulenspiegel editorial group. According to the German newspaper “Express”, it is said that he had a heart attack.
“The small and always actor Berliner was very popular,” writes his editor. “Family members, publication employees, readers and viewers will remember it well.”
Awareness through the “crime scene”
He became known as Lutz Weber’s assistant at the “Tatort” thanks to his “Berlin muzzle”. He was also seen in the film adaptation of The Tower.
In 2008 he published his autobiography “It is not a question, not a question”. It also includes the time after the GDR in which he had to play small roles, but he did it with great passion. “They add flavor to movies,” he says. (bnr)
