Dominique Rinderknecht and Tamy Glauser announce their separation on Instagram. The two want to remain friends and work together.
“We wanted to let you know that from now on we will go through life as best friends,” Dominique Rinderknecht and Tamy Glauser say at the beginning of their video message on Instagram. “We still love each other and are still a team, it’s a little different now than before.”
Then they open a bottle of sparkling wine and toast, “To friendship!” The two women say nothing about the reasons for the end of the relationship and indicate in the description of the video that they do not intend to answer any questions about this personal decision.
Four years as a couple
Dominique Rinderknecht and Tamy Glauser were the best known gay couple in Switzerland and repeatedly campaigned publicly for the concerns of the LGBTQIA movement. They were in a loving relationship for four years.
Dominique Rinderknecht became known across the country in 2013 when she won the Miss Switzerland election. Like Tamy Glauser, she has worked as a model ever since, and the two also perform as a DJ duo.
