Amateur leagues: no more games this year
Due to the nationwide ban on contact sports enacted by the Federal Council on Wednesday, the Promotion League and 1st league soccer championships will be suspended with immediate effect. As the First League Committee wrote in a statement, a restart is excluded this year. From now on, the committee will address the possible scenarios for the resumption of the championships in 2021. “We will simulate different start dates, always taking into account a reasonable season preparation time.”
