Today, Swisscom CEO Urs Schäppi announced the news with a great show at Zurich’s Abaton cinema: a new name for TV, streaming, cinema and games is coming together under the blue label. What exactly does the new brand mean?

Swisscom TV, the most popular television in Switzerland, becomes blue television; now also available as a Smart TV app, on competitive set-top boxes or via web player at blue.ch. The most complete range of Blue TV is available in combination with the Swisscom Box. Because only with the Swisscom Box (or its predecessor, the UHD Box) the attractive streaming offers are integrated in addition to classic television: Netflix, Sky, OCS, Spotify, DAZN, YouTube and now also the Amazon streaming service. Teleclub becomes blue +, the largest Swiss provider of exclusive content for sports, films, documentaries and series. All products are now available on all platforms at the same price; sports content is also available as individual access, as well as a wide range of current movies, series and documentaries for rent or purchase. All “blue +” packages can also be booked individually through the app.

  • blue Sport offers the widest range of sports in Switzerland and shows national and international football.
  • blue Max is the best streaming deal for Swiss series fans and movie fans with 11 channels – cinema blockbusters are available for the first time on blue Max.
  • blue Doku stands for high-quality documentation and reports and unites the 10 largest international documentary providers.

KITAG cinemas are now also a recognizable part of the blue adventure world as “blue cinema”. With the highest technological standards and additional offerings such as bowling or sports bars, the blue cinema represents the cinema of the future. At the same time, the cinema is also used for other content, such as broadcasting live football matches or operas.

Bluewin.ch is now called bluenews.ch and supplements the latest news from the world of experience with editorial tips, summaries, reviews and news, especially from the world of entertainment and sports.

blue.ch provides a complete overview of all blue channels and also allows direct access to blue TV, including on-demand TV, blue + and blue cinema ticket sales.

Blue is also setting the standard in the gaming and esports arena and is gradually expanding Swisscom Box to a gaming platform: Twitch, the leading streaming platform for live games and esports, is now available now and for the first time on a Swiss television platform.
