Swisscom launches a new design for its entertainment department. Now everything is blue: Swisscom TV turns into Blue TV and Teleclub turns blue +. Kitag cinemas will also be painted blue: from tomorrow they will be called Blue Cinema.
The so-called “entertainment houses” will also be featured at the Swisscom media event at the Abaton cinema in Zurich. Bowling alleys, sports bars and game caves will be built in the cinema complex. This also happens under the name Blue Cinema.
According to Blue Cinema press spokesperson Olivia Willi, this is nothing new: “We are already running similar complexes in St. Gallen, Winterthur ZH or Lucerne.” With Blue Cinema there should be more entertainment options in theaters. This also includes restaurants, children’s corners or special playgrounds.
Cinema becomes more than just a cinema
Swisscom would like to use its cinemas for more than just movies. Football matches or operas will also be broadcast live in the future. With this, Swisscom wants to establish “the cinema of the future”. It is also looking to bring the games to theaters.
