Long faces are unavoidable. The Europapark is very popular with the Swiss. Anyone coming from the cantons of Freiburg, Vaud, and Geneva in Rust, Germany, could be deeply frustrated.
Even if you don’t live in the cantons in question but have only been there for one visit in the last two weeks. Without a corona test, which came back negative, there is nothing quite like a roller coaster or Rulantica. This was confirmed by a Europapark spokesperson at the request of “20min.ch”. Instead, the affected Swiss would have to be quarantined immediately after entering the country.
The spokesperson for the amusement park refers to the regulations of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, to which the Europapark belongs. Unlike the whole of Switzerland, the cantons of Vaud, Geneva and Friborg are on the German Robert Koch Institute’s list of risk countries.

Controls and instructions
Important for everyone who has a negative Corona test: you must not have more than 48 hours when you show up at the Europapark entrance or when entering Germany. According to “20min.ch”, the amusement park conducts random checks and occasionally requests identification. Anyone caught will be rejected.
In the adjoining hotel, the origin of the guests is determined by reservation.
Also important: you can’t take the test later at the amusement park. Those who did not know all this can expect goodwill. According to the spokesperson, they are willing to rebook the tickets. (aurochs)
