SFL makes it hard to postpone the game

The 20 clubs of the Swiss Football League decided by one vote against a new regulation for requests for postponement of matches. This application can now only be submitted if it can be shown that fewer than 14 outfield players and 2 goalkeepers from a previously submitted player list can work for a club. This includes at least 30 players in the Super League and at least 25 players in the Challenge League. So far, a postponement could be requested if at least 6 players are unavailable due to the same contagious disease or quarantine.

Also change of rules for the construction of the stadium.

The clubs also voted against, in favor of a change to the SFL licensing regulations, which had been requested by FC Aarau and FC Lugano. The special permit for holding professional games in a stadium that does not actually meet the requirements can now be extended for one year. To do this, the club in question must prove that it has done everything reasonable to move the project forward.
