The defender launched his career at Sparta Prague, where he also made his debut in the Czech top league (Fortuna Liga) in the 2011/12 season. Following a short loan to FK Senica, Frydek moved to FC Slovan Liberec in January 2013, for which he completed the next two and a half seasons. For the 2015/16 season, Martin Frydek returned to Sparta Prague and became an important part of the best Czech club, representing 20 times in the Europa League.
