Darius Rochebin, the former star presenter of the French-speaking Swiss television RTS, wants to take legal action in relation to an article in the newspaper “Le Temps”.

A week ago, “Le Temps” reported cases of sexual harassment and intimidation in the RTS. According to the report, Rochebin, the longtime RTS Tagesschau moderator, is said to have touched female employees against their will. In addition, he had used his professional position and fame to contact young people with the professional goal of journalism and then send them sexually suggestive comments and text messages. In some cases, the first contact was made through two Facebook accounts with a false identity operated by Rochebin.

At CH Media’s request, Rochebin’s attorney, Vincent Solari, wrote that there was a criminal complaint pending in relation to the article in question. Your client currently does not want to comment on this. At “Le Temps” we did not hear from Rochebin or his lawyer until Friday. (bzbasel.ch)
