British Tom Quinn is making a splash with his book on the British Royals. The author reveals numerous spicy details about the life of Princess Diana.
Tom Quinn has written a controversial book that provides a lot of real material to talk about beforehand. In a “Daily Mail” post, the 64-year-old author publishes many spicy details in advance.
From a naked Princess Diana (1961-1997) sunbathing in front of embarrassed construction workers to a Princess Margaret who is said to have mocked her husband, Lord Snowdon, with forceful reports of their affairs. He researched his book “Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memory of Queen Mary to Meghan Markle”.
It is already a number one best seller in the real biographies category on the Amazon UK website.
From Margaret to Lady Di: marital affairs and crises
According to the “Daily Mail,” Quinn’s interviewees report numerous sexual escapes at Kensington Palace, especially that Princess Margaret, according to descriptions, was not a sad girl. After her divorce in 1978, the part of the palace where she now lived alone was a frequently visited place for various affairs she is said to have had during her marriage.
When newly married Prince Charles and Lady Diana moved to Kensington Palace in 1981, the marriage was already in the midst of a crisis, Quinn reports. They moved to a larger apartment in the family home, where Diana is said to have had “her best and worst moments.”
“There is a myth that Charles and Diana lived happily in this beautiful palace for at least the first few years, but in fact they could be heard arguing almost from day one,” Quinn quotes a former employee. A good decade later, Diana is also said to have no longer concealed her affairs.
Dodi Fayed was not a welcome guest
“Diana was literally obsessed with David Hoare, almost to the point of madness,” Quinn quotes a person who is said to have worked directly for Princess Diana at the time. “He was walking around Kensington Palace in disguise, searching for phone booths from which he called hundreds of times.”
Dodi Fayed, who was in the car in the Princess Diana car accident in 1997 and also died, did not appear to be particularly popular with the staff. “He thought he was better and that he was very arrogant towards us. Diana was very kind and was very apologetic to the staff that Dodi had yelled at all times,” says the former staff member.
An icy silence between Meghan and Kate?
Quinn also provides an explanation for the departure of Prince Harry and the Duchess Meghan from the royal family: “Living so close to William and Kate was clearly too much of a step for Meghan.”
At Frogmore Cottage in Windsor it was just the opposite: “Meghan realized that she too could live in the Russian steppe.”
“Kate was one of the most beautiful royalty in history. But it was clear that tensions had to arise because Meghan had to accept that, although she was a duchess, she had not married the next king. I think it was difficult for them to deal with that “.
According to Quinn, the statement that Meghan’s new state has come out on top agrees with other former employees. After a time, the two brothers only met in pairs to “avoid fighting and icy silence.” (elm / yom)
