It started with wild urination in the garden hedge and ended in a fight with a garden hose as a weapon. A bloody dispute over pensioners was heard Wednesday at the Dietikon District Court in ZH. Defendant Max B. * (73) is accused of breaking a woman’s nose (mid-1960s).
The charge: bodily harm with a dangerous object! “I am not giving you a rusty screw as compensation,” the defendant poisoned in court. It didn’t work.
The initial situation: On July 11, 2019, the defendant urinated in a hedge in Dietikon in the afternoon. That bothered the mid-sixties, pulling weeds on the other side. “You don’t have to go to my garden,” he said, the defendant said. The pensioner replied, “I’m finishing here now.”
Garden hose used as a whip
That, in turn, the woman did not accept, grabbed the garden hose and was spoiled. Then all the dams broke at the pensioner pee. “I was at 200,” he admitted.
According to the charges, he slapped the woman across the face with the palm of his hand. And he used the hose as a weapon. “Like a whip,” he said, letting the hard plastic spray nozzle buzz through the air. And broke the victim’s nose several times. The victim took months to recover and did not appear in court in person.
Max B. came without a lawyer, took VIEW to the nearby crime scene during a break in the process, and described the process again in detail. In court he said first: “I don’t know what happened exactly, I was so angry.” He later stated: “I only let go of the hose when we both pulled it. Then it must be splashed on his face. ”The rabid pensioner was also unimpressed by two incriminating witnesses: they were not Swiss anyway and had agreed.
The judge was visibly losing patience. And in the end it went beyond the sentence demanded by the prosecutor: twelve months probation. In addition, the pensioner must pay 1500 francs.
“What you have done is below”
He did not agree with the verdict. And he vented his anger in the courtroom. He kept interrupting the judge when he pronounced the verdict (“You don’t impress me at all”). He threatened: “Now I will speak, otherwise I will have the police take you out of the room.” The judge told the defendant that he had seriously injured a physically inferior woman: “What he has done is simply a ruin.”
Max B. wants to defend himself against the verdict by not paying the fine. “I’d rather go to jail.” The only hit of the day against her opponent: “If I peed in the hedge again, she wouldn’t come out to complain. That was a lesson! “
