Adelboden and Wengen pass snow checks

The Chuenisbärgli and Lauberhorn slopes have passed the official FIS snow inspection. The Adelboden circuit is ready for the two giant slaloms on Friday and Saturday 8/9. January and the slalom on Sunday January 10, 2021. The slope in Wengen also turned out to be good for the 2 races (Friday and Saturday January 15 and 16) and the slalom on Sunday January 17. Due to the current situation, both traditional events will be held with the exclusion of spectators.

Hintermann out indefinitely

Downhill specialist Niels Hintermann suffered a cartilage injury in his left knee when he fell on downhill on Wednesday in Bormio. The 25-year-old from Zurich had to undergo arthroscopic surgery on Thursday at the Balgrist University Clinic. How long Hintermann will be out will be demonstrated with rehab in the coming weeks, Swiss-Ski said.
