Dream goal under the bar! Freuler saves Atalanta a point at Juventus

Juventus – Atalanta 1: 1

Thanks to a Truamtor by Remo Freuler, Atalanta Bergamo scored 1-1 in the duel of the Champions League round of 16 at Juventus in Turin. Despite the good performance, Atalanta is still out of the top 6 after the 12th round of Serie A.

Freuler started the game as captain. However, the Swiss international made his big appearance shortly after handing over the captain’s armband to replace Papu Gómez: in the 57th minute he captured the ball near the rival’s penalty area and hit the crossbar to make it 1-1 from 18 meters. It was Freuler’s 16th goal in Serie A, his first of the current season.

Juventus went ahead thanks to a beautiful long shot from Federico Chiesa. Shortly after the 1-1 draw, the Italian international also provoked the penalty with which Cristiano Ronaldo missed Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini. Ronaldo had converted two penalties into a victory three days ago against Genoa.

Beth Harmon comes from the most inharmonious circumstances imaginable: father left, mother commits suicide, Beth walks into the house, but hey, the caretaker lives in the basement and he’s not a bit creepy and teaches her chess. Of course, Beth is a chess prodigy, and although she relies heavily on pills, she beats everyone, including the Russians, and this with the help of her resourceful and extremely smart chess friends (click here for comment of Baron Baroni).
