Serbia is the leading country in Europe in terms of corona vaccination in relation to its population. According to “Our World in Data”, the Balkan state, which itself does not belong to the EU, has already vaccinated more than 450,000 of its seven million citizens.
According to the online publication, Serbia, apart from Great Britain, is catapulting itself to the first place of vaccination in continental Europe.
Three different vaccines to choose from
While the EU is struggling with production difficulties and delivery bottlenecks, the focus in Serbia is on vaccines from China and Russia. Serbia received one million doses of vaccine from China earlier this year.
In Serbia, they are currently being vaccinated with Biontech-Pfizer (Germany / USA), Sputnik V (Russia) and Sinopharm (China). In Serbia you can also choose which vaccine you want to be vaccinated with. (euc)
