The prerequisite is that governments relax travel restrictions on flights within the EU and that security measures are introduced at airports to protect health. According to their own statements, Ryanair would offer almost 1,000 flights a day, covering 90 percent of the routes that the airline had operated before the Corona crisis.
Ryanair has ceased most of its flight operations since the end of March and currently only offers around 30 daily flights between Ireland, Great Britain and continental Europe.
Great protection measures
According to Ryanair, passengers must wear face masks at the airport and on board to avoid transmission of the coronavirus. They must also provide the airline with their contact details and length of stay at check-in for flights in July and August. Ryanair also requests that passengers’ body temperatures be checked as soon as they enter the airport.
