  • Russian Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny barely survived a poison attack in the summer.
  • Now Navalny has investigated and wants to prove that an employee of the Russian national secret service FSB carried out the poison attack.
  • The man himself confessed the fact in a telephone conversation.

“I called my murderer, he confessed”: that’s the title of the video posted on YouTube. You can hear a phone call in which Navalny pretends to be an employee of the Russian Security Council, in order to gain the man’s trust.

The man speaks at length: the poison was adhered to the inside of Nawalny’s underwear, he says in the telephone conversation. Y: Navalny only survived the attack because the flight he was on didn’t last long enough – the pilot decided to make an emergency landing.

Navalny made the phone call as part of the investigation of various outlets, including the news magazine “Spiegel”. Journalists reported last week that at least eight Russian intelligence agents allegedly carried out the attack.

Luzia Tschirky: “The latest revelations by Alexej Navalny mean an unprecedented loss of prestige for the Russian government. For President Vladimir Putin, the publication is a personal exhibition and shows the actual size of the Kremlin. Using readily available software, the country’s most famous opponent and Putin’s biggest opponent, Alexei Navalny, managed to get a confession from the Russian internal secret service about the attempted poison attack.

Last Thursday, Putin laughed when asked about the Navalny poisoning. The laughs are likely to end for the former FSB chief. A military chemist who was part of the task force not only answered questions about a planned poisoning over an open phone line, but also revealed racy details.

According to him, Navalny’s underwear was cleaned twice by the national intelligence service after the attempted poisoning with Novichok. No service in the world can wash its own vest for the Kremlin.

The incident in which a chemical from the Novichok group was allegedly used took place in August. Navalny collapsed on a domestic flight and was later treated, among other places, at the Charité hospital in Berlin.

Russia denies the accusations

Russia had repeatedly denied allegations that it did nothing to resolve the case and requested evidence.

At his big annual press conference, Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin admitted that Navalny was being watched by the secret service. But there is no reason to poison your fiercest opponent.
