The family office of the former head of investment bank Vontobel attracts attention for the first time with an acquisition. Roger Studer buys a software development company.
Studer Family Office, based in Pfäffikon SZ, is taking over NSM Holding, a software developer and service provider, as the company writes in a press release. NSM has almost 350 employees and serves clients in the financial sector, but also in the aviation industry, in training and in the fintech sector.
Studer Family Office and NSM Holding did not disclose the price of the transaction. NSM has its offices in Zurich and Baar.
Former Vontobel banker starts his own business
Roger studer He worked for Bank Vontobel for 20 years and ran the investment bank. He was what made the company one of the leaders in the world market for structured products.
In recent years, however, Studer’s unit has been overtaken by asset management. Vontobel dissolved the investment bank in 2019 and integrated the structured products business into the platform business.
Studer left the administration in late 2019 and later founded the Studer Family Office.
