On Thursday night, November 12, 2020, a gunman attacked a restaurant on Römerhofplatz in District 7 and stole cash. Zurich city police are looking for witnesses.
Shortly after 7 pm, a masked man entered the restaurant “Le Pain Quotidien” on Römerhofplatz 5. He threatened the sales staff with a gun and demanded cash. As a result, he fled with several hundred francs in cash on a red bicycle in an unknown direction.
The assailant was armed with a firearm.
Approx. 40-50 years old, approximately 180-185 cm tall, slender, stooped posture, wearing a black leather jacket and hood. He was wearing a black protective mask and had a pistol with him. He was on a red bike.
Persons who can provide information about the wanted person or the incident at the restaurant at Römerhofplatz 5 on Thursday night, November 12, 2020, between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., should report to the city police Zurich. (euc)
