Following a landslide on Saturday morning between Tenero and Riazzino in the canton of Ticino, the Locarno-Cadenazzo railway line is interrupted.
The duration of the outage is unknown, a replacement train service has been established.
Long-distance trains between Bellinzona and Locarno are also canceled for the time being.
The report on the landslide was received at 9:30 am, SBB spokeswoman Sabine Baumgartner said. SBB experts are on site. SBB was unable to provide any damage information at this time.
