Former Raiffeisen boss Pierin Vincenz (64) let everything break during his tenure. This is reported by the online portal Inside Paradeplatz and relates to the 350-page indictment of the Zurich prosecutor’s office against the former banker.

According to the prosecutor’s office, he cut 251,000 francs on his head for champagne and fun during his tenure as chief, according to the report.

Another spicy detail from the expense report: the complete repair of Suite 507 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Zurich. According to the report, Vincenz spent the night of June 11-12, 2014 with a cabaret dancer. The tête-à-tête apparently ended in a heated discussion. The hotel room was affected.
According to the report, the repair of the inventory cost 3,778 francs, also paid for with the company’s credit card. The woman allegedly sued Vincenz. Star lawyer Lorenz Erni came to his aid and started the “Konsilium” campaign. For this he charged 31,000 francs, which the bank paid on the basis of “fees, copyright, copyright.”
Furthermore, Vincenz is said to have obtained legal assistance from the Zurich business law firm Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) in this context. Cost: 48,000 francs – also invoiced as expenses. According to the prosecution’s report, the prosecutor said this “was not commercially justified.”
Prosecutor asks for six years
The prosecution in the Vincenz case has been on the table since this week. It was presented by Prosecutor III of Zurich, specialized in economic crimes. In addition to Raiffeisen’s former boss, Beat Stocker (60), former head of the credit card company Aduno, is also charged.
The presumption of innocence applies to Pierin Vincenz and Beat Stocker.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the two are said to have struck questionable deals to the detriment of their employers Raiffeisen and Aduno – they are charged with business fraud, document forgery and passive bribery. Embezzlement is also on the list of charges.
