A priest from the diocese of Chur “accidentally” sent his secretary a slippery photo. She has now submitted her resignation.
(rapid eye movement) A parish administrator immediately submitted his resignation. That’s something to talk about in the Dean of Nidwalden’s office. Kath.ch’s investigation now shows: The priest, who worked in three districts of Nidwalden, sent a parish secretary a nude photo of an erect penis on Whatsapp. It should have happened on August 31st.
The woman in question has filed a complaint. The Nidwalden criminal police confirmed to the church website that a police investigation had been opened against the man.
The priest told kath.ch that the photo did not show his penis. They had sent her a nude photo without her asking for it. He wanted to delete it and “accidentally” sent it to the secretary. He regrets the mishap and apologizes “in all its forms.”
The diocese of Chur announced a week ago that the priest had submitted his resignation after a complaint against him was received. The presumption of innocence applies to the priest in question.
