Due to a positive case of Covid-19 in Genève-Servette, the game against Lausanne has also been postponed. Only the game between the ZSC Lions and Davos remained on Friday’s schedule.
After Friborg-Gottéron, Lugano, Biel, Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and Ambri-Piotta, teams number six to eight must temporarily halt their operations due to the corona virus. The Gottéron and Lugano teams are operational again.
It is open how it will continue after Friday for the three recently affected teams. Cantonal doctor orders are not yet available. Both SCL Tigers (away against ZSC Lions) and Servette (against Lugano) on Sunday are in jeopardy.
The National League will then go on hiatus until Tuesday, November 10. Next week the national team would have been in action at the German Cup. However, Swiss ice hockey withdrew from the tournament due to the corona pandemic.
