Canton Zurich police broke up a meeting of car tuners in a remote parking lot on Sunday night in Grafstal ZH.
57 vehicles were checked over several hours. Six of them were closed for illegal tuning.
Participants came from virtually every canton in German-speaking Switzerland, cantonal police wrote in a message Sunday. About 150 people were screened. He was reported for violating the Covid Ordinance.
In addition, about a dozen of these people were reported for unauthorized changes to the vehicle. These are men between 18 and 24 years old. Dismantled vehicles were removed from traffic due to preventable noise or non-compliant exhaust systems.
Police learned of the meeting after a report.
