Then all the players, all the staff and all the people who work in the stadium must be vaccinated, ”the association wrote in a statement. However, he has not yet had any contact with the league.
As soon as the general population has access to vaccination, all Super and Challenge League clubs should be able to gradually increase spectator capacity if they only allow spectators who can show a Covid-19 vaccine into the stadium, said. “In this way, a safe experience can be guaranteed for all participants and the operation of the championship can gradually return to normal in a short period of time,” says SAFP President Lucien Valloni.
And also: “At least in the initial phase, we consider that these restrictions for the spectators are proportionate. Those who do not want to be vaccinated can watch the games on television until, from a health point of view, approval without vaccination again seems justifiable ”.
Players see no problem
And how do the players feel about any mandatory vaccination? “Those with whom I had contact would have no problem,” says Valloni. And the attorney has yet to figure out exactly how admission controls should be designed. “You can imagine a kind of database in which the fan must register if he wants to have access to the stadiums. Or a vaccination certificate that must be presented. But it is important that the discussion begins now so that one is ready when everyone has access to the vaccine. “
For the current season, however, these simulation games will likely remain irrelevant, because they will be finished in May. That could roughly coincide with the point at which the vaccine may be available to the general public.
