The owl is trapped in the New York Christmas tree for 3 days and is consequently ugly
This week, one of the most famous Christmas trees in the world was installed in New York: the Rockefeller Christmas tree. The spruce is 23 meters tall and weighs 11 tons, and from now on it will provide a Christmas atmosphere for several weeks.
This year, when the tree was erected, workers were surprised with a sweet … well … surprised: in the branches Conifer an owl looking pretty nasty sat.

The little bird had every reason to be. Throughout the 300-kilometer journey, he had waited unnoticed among the branches. According to Ellen Kalish, a spokeswoman for the bird sanctuary, the owl was dehydrated and starving after the three-day journey. Rockefeller, the new name of the animal, is now being suckled there.
The bird found is a male saw owl. This species of owl is one of the smallest in North America: males weigh a maximum of 100 grams and are 20 centimeters tall.
At the bird sanctuary, one does not know how exactly this could happen. “We’ve never seen anything like it,” Kalish told News 12. She suspects the owl was sitting in the branches when the fir was tied to the truck and caught between the crushed branches. (pls)
