- On Monday it emerged that a family man at Buchs AG had committed suicide and killed his three children (ages 3, 11 and 13). The prosecutor assumes this.
- Now it is clear: three of the four dead were allegedly poisoned with drugs.
- According to the Aargau Prosecutor’s Office, it appears that one victim was suffocated.
- It is not yet clear which drug was used. Toxicological investigations are ongoing.
The victims, who were found Monday by the wife of the 37-year-old father, had undergone an autopsy, the Aargau prosecutor announced Thursday. Toxicological findings are still pending.
The investigating authorities assume that the act was not committed with affection. However, in the period leading up to the 37-year period, there was no evidence that could have led to the conclusion of the act. Out of consideration for the bereaved, the prosecutor does not provide information on how the crime scene and the deceased were found.
