No “silent night”: police arrest a man after threats against the family – Canton (Aargau) – Aargau

On Tuesday, the Aargau canton police received a report that a 36-year-old Swiss man had threatened his family. Since a certain potential risk could not be ruled out, additional forces were used as a precautionary measure. Although the person in question could not be located on Wednesday night, the further development of the situation made the withdrawal of the large contingent possible.

As the situation changed and worsened again on Thursday, December 24, when the man had again made threats, the police presence began again in the late afternoon, so the person could be detained at his place of residence.

The responsible prosecutor Zofingen-Kulm opened a criminal investigation and ordered the provisional arrest. (kob)
