According to Viasuisse, there are no closed roads. The winter block still applies to passports. Cantonal police in Uri have established a checkpoint near Wassen (UR), where they use Easter to educate travelers about the crown situation in the southern canton and to discourage them from continuing their journey.

300 vehicles stopped per day
Uri cantonal police have detained around 300 vehicles a day since Wednesday. Most of the drivers would have shown understanding for the call not to travel to Ticino and, at the same time, they would have presented important reasons to do so.
On Wednesday and Thursday, they were mainly people traveling for work, living in Ticino and working north of Gotthard, police said.
