  • After a crown case at a player’s hotel for the Australian Open in Melbourne, participants, officials and employees must go into home isolation.
  • There will be no matches in the 6 ATP and WTA tennis tournaments in Melbourne on Thursday.

There are a total of 500 to 600 affected people who had to isolate themselves on Wednesday. Victoria authorities announced. The names of those affected were not mentioned. An employee of one of the quarantine hotels in Melbourne is reportedly said to have been infected with the British corona virus mutation.

A total of about 1000 people from the tennis world stayed at various Melbourne hotels. They had spent a 14-day quarantine there.
