There was no time to dress up. Many people queue in front of hospitals in Seattle (USA) in pajamas, reports the New York Times. They followed a spontaneous nighttime vaccination call in their region. Because Moderna’s Corona vaccine should be stored at minus 70 degrees. But at a local hospital the vaccination refrigerator failed.

If Moderna vaccine doses are not stored as cold, they lose their effectiveness. Therefore, on Thursday a total of 1,600 vaccinations had to be administered on very short notice. At 8.30pm, the faulty refrigerator was noticed at the Kaiser Permanente vaccination center.
