FCB fans get what they want: Burgener no longer running for president
FC Basel will soon calm down. Bernhard Burgener has announced that he will no longer stand for re-election as club president. On the FCB website, Burgener talks about a “logical step” that he and other colleagues on the board are no longer running for the board.

Structure unbundling
Burgener assures that his departure as president has nothing to do with the uprising of the fans and the “Yystoo for FCB” movement. Rather, it is a process that began more than a year ago.
