Basel residents will soon be able to travel to the Europapark by train in just one hour. As announced by the amusement park on Friday morning, there will be a new rail connection as of December 13, 2020. The trains in question leave SBB station at 3:38 pm and arrive at Ringsheim / Europapark at 4 : 40 pm So far, the train travel time has been between two and three hours, depending on the connection.

However, there is only one return trip the next morning at 9:55 am, which aims to motivate visitors to spend the night in the park.

According to Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, another goal is to offer guests an alternative to traveling by car: “From numerous train stations in Switzerland, you can now go directly to the train station with the new name ‘Ringsheim / Europa -Park ›.
