The 53-year-old succeeds Daniel hunziker who will lead the division of large institutional clients as of October 1. According to the announcement, Mende has many years of experience in the banking sector and has held various management positions in business development and consulting for more than 25 years. He joins CS from the international consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, of which he has been a partner since 2012, managing the Zurich office and serving clients in the financial sector.
By the way, access to CS is not entirely new. Mende already worked for the second largest bank in the country from 1999 to 2012 and, among other things, managed business development in the global private client business as well as the Swiss retail and corporate client segment.
