The Lakers are NBA champions for the 17th time and they forget a player in the stadium

The Los Angeles Lakers win the NBA championship for the 17th time, setting the record for the Boston Celtics.

LeBron James’ team dominated the Miami Heat early on, deservedly winning with a clear 106: 93 (64:36) lead and claiming the decisive fourth best-of-7 series win.

The final seconds of the Lakers triumph

The final series ended ten years after the last 4-2 title win for the Lakers. James had a triple-double and finished with 28 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. For the 35-year-old, it was the fourth championship title of his career. James brought two of them with Miami and one with Cleveland. Only four NBA players achieved titles with three teams.

After the return of Bam Adebayo on Friday, the Heat were able to turn to second major player Goran Dragic, who had to take a break during the final series. Adebayo had 25 points at the end, but neither he, nor Dragic nor the recently prominent Jimmy Butler could do anything against the Lakers’ solid defensive performance. Meanwhile, the team was 36 points behind.

The unfortunate left behind

There’s also one unlucky guy in every Lakers celebration: Quinn Cook, point guard for the newly crowned champion. Not because the 27-year-old was injured, but because the Lakers bus left the Orlando arena without Cook.

So the American had no choice but to speak on JR Smith’s Instagram live feed from the bus and pray to the team that he would turn back.

At 3.80 meters long, the decidedly flat SLRV (for low air resistance) sits almost exactly between a VW Up and the Polo. Even so, the car only weighs 450 kg. For this purpose, …
