Ambri – ZSC Lions 5: 2

What a night for the 1303 spectators in Valascia. After a goalless third from the start, Leventina started up from the middle. It all started with the guests, who took the lead in the 24th minute through Garrett Roe. But then the Julius Nättinen show began. The Finn had 3 hits in 9 minutes. Nättinen achieved 1: 1 and 3: 1 almost identically in the power play. With 4: 1, the Finn hit the slot. The Lions got hope after Axel Simic’s 2: 4 12 minutes before the end. But Nättinen made it all clear in the 58th minute with his eighth goal of the season (in 5 games) in the empty box.

Geneva – Bern 5: 3

Eric Fehr also had a creamy day. The 35-year veteran led Geneva-Servette almost single-handedly to a 5-3 victory over Bern. Fehr opened the scoring after 12 minutes of excess. At the beginning of the middle third, the Canadian shone with a strong deflector to make it 2-0. The best goal of the night was achieved by Fehr’s teammate Damien Riat. The Swiss international made Yanik Burren look old in the 36th minute and then nibbled on Berna goalkeeper Tomi Karhunen. After Alain Berger’s 1: 3 (52nd) it was again Fehr’s turn, who made it all clear with his goals 3 and 4 in the 56th minute. For the SCB it was no longer enough for more than cosmetic results.

Lausanne – Lugano 2: 1 nV

Josh Jooris got away in the third minute of extra time and secured the additional point for the Vaudois. Lausanne had already pressed for the winning goal at the end of the regular 60 minutes, but Niklas Schlegel kept Ticino in the game. The two teams did not give each other anything for long periods. Daniel Carr had put Luganesi ahead after 3 minutes. Charles Hudon was responsible for the equalization of Lausanne (26th). Thanks to the victory, Lausanne takes the lead in the table.

SCL Tigers – Freiburg 3: 4 nV

After Ben Maxwell’s 3-2 win in the 56th minute, there was still plenty of evidence of Langnauer’s second win of the season. But Freiburg fought back. Yannick Herren saved the Saanestädter 90 seconds before the final siren in extra time. Not a minute passed there before Ryan Gunderson secured victory for the guests. Chris DiDomenico was one of the most prominent Freiburgers. The former Langnauer booked 3 goalscoring points (1 goal, 2 assists) on his return to Emmental.
