Servette Gin – HC Davos 4: 5

Davos celebrated in Geneva thanks to a central third. The Graubünden team scored 4 goals in 8:30 minutes, paving the way for the first victory of the season in the third game with Geneva-Servette. After 20 minutes, there was little to suggest an away win: Grenat got off to a furious start, taking an early lead through Noah Rod (4th). Before the first break, Henrik Tömmernes rose from the blue line with a single thunderous stopwatch. In the middle of the game, the “ibexes” woke up. Marc Wieser tied the score with a double hit in 100 seconds and started the HCD scoring machine. The best offense in the league once again lived up to its reputation, although the French-speaking Swiss reignited tension in the final third thanks to two goals.

Freiburg-Gottéron – SC Bern 4: 1

At first, it seemed that the SCB could withstand the urge to advance to the cup final in the Zähringer derby. The Bernese appeared dominant and covered Freiburg goalkeeper Reto Berra with shots. But the lack of efficiency was avenged. Sandro Schmid (8th) put the lead for the local team out of nowhere. Now the spell is broken, the “dragons” took off in the third outing, and with Chris DiDomenico’s 3-0 in the 17th minute, it was child’s play to counter the Bernese. The guests did not want to hit more than the 1: 3 connecting goal from Inti Pestoni (38th). Gottéron achieved the 14th home win of the season, a league record. After their 19th defeat in their 26th game, “Mutzen” lick their wounds again.

SCL Tigres – HC Lugano 1: 2

The impressive HC Lugano series continues in Langnau. Luganesi consolidated their status as the team of the moment and celebrated their seventh consecutive victory. However, the 2: 1 hit at Emmental was not a sure hit. Although the guests went to the front in the 5th minute after a great counterattack by Dario Bürgler, the Tigers did not give up, and in the 26th minute Flavio Schmutz made a well-deserved draw. It took a wonderful individual performance from Mikkel Boedker (38th) to take the 3 points with him to Ticino. This means that the third duel between these two teams was for Lugano. The Tigers have yet to wait for their first home win since Jan.2.
