ZSC Lions trap talent Rossi
The ZSC Lions temporarily supplement their roster with 19-year-old Marco Rossi of Austria. The Vorarlberg man, who signed a 3-year contract with the NHL Minnesota Wild franchise as No. 9 in this year’s draft, wants to gain practice in Zurich until the start of the preseason in North America. This was stated by Rossi’s management on Wednesday. A confirmation from the ZSC is still pending. The center had started its career in organizing the ZSC Lions. Most recently, Rossi played in the Canadian youth league, the Ontario Hockey League, for the Ottawa 67, where he accumulated 120 points in 56 games.
Ambri longer without a miller
Ambri-Piotta has to do without Marco Müller for four or six weeks. The center tore an internal ligament in his right knee after colliding with a teammate in a 5-2 win over the ZSC Lions on Tuesday.
