It is around 9:30 pm when the radio warns of an oncoming driver that he is crashing onto the A99 motorway near Hohenbrunn, near Munich. But by then it is too late.
A few minutes later, it already cracks. An Audi and a VW Sharan collide head-on. The impact is violent. The two cars are just one accident after the frontal collision. The occupants, a driver and a passenger, are trapped. Firefighters must rescue them with heavy hydraulic equipment, reports the news portal wasserburg24.de. But any help comes too late for the four people. ER doctors cannot save your life.
Prosecutor’s Office has an accident report
According to the “picture”, the Audi comes from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The Sharan is said to have traveled with foreign registration. The exact circumstances of the accident are now being investigated. The responsible prosecutor has commissioned a corresponding report.
The A99 was blocked for several hours. Also the opposite lane, as a safety measure. Emergency services feared that people would be hit by the accident and wander down the road. (hmh)
