More than 24,000 new corona infections on Thursday in Germany

In Germany, more than 24,000 new corona infections were reported in one day. As the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) announced on Thursday morning, citing information from health authorities, 24,300 new cases of infection were registered, which represents about 1,600 more than on Thursday of last week. The seven-day incidence increased slightly from the previous day to 134.2.

The seven-day incidence, which indicates the number of new infections per 100,000 residents in seven days, has recently risen steadily after falling below 60 in February.
