The cantons continue to act very differently in the Corona crisis. Zurich’s governing council has extended the requirement for masks in stores and other measures until the end of October, as district president Silvia Steiner (62, CVP) told the media on Thursday.

New brochure for schools

In the fight against the increase in crown numbers, the canton of Bern is introducing the mask requirement for major events of 1000 people or more. Health Director Pierre Alain Schnegg (58, SVP) announced this to the media on Thursday. The governing council approved a corresponding ordinance.
